Buying fossils is a great way to start or grow a collection. The oldest fossils ever found are 3.4 billion years old. They were discovered in Greenland, Australia, and Canada. These fossils offer the earliest evidence of life on Earth. They come from some of the oldest geological formations on the planet. Fossils give us a glimpse into a world that existed millions of years ago. This world was full of animals and plants that are now extinct. Fossils also show how the continents have shifted over time. For example, hundreds of millions of years ago, Europe was in the Southern Hemisphere. Fossils reveal how life evolved, such as the fact that whales once walked on land.

Our fish fossils are from the Green River Formation (USA). You’ll also find shark teeth, sea urchins, ammonites, belemnites, insects, and more.

We also sell dinosaur fossils. One example is the Mosasaurus, a marine reptile found in the Netherlands (though not a true dinosaur). Other fossils include the Ichthyosaurus, the plant-eating Titanosaurus and Rebbachisaurus, and the meat-eating Spinosaurus. We also offer fossils from more recent periods. We also stock dinosaur fossils, such as those of the Mosasaurus—a prehistoric marine reptile discovered in the Netherlands (though technically not a true dinosaur).
