99 – 93 million years old

The Carcharodontosaurus is one of the largest and most terrifying carnivorous dinosaurs that ever lived. It was around 13 meters long and weighed over 7 tons. Its name means “shark-toothed lizard”, due to the large and sharp teeth it possessed, similar to those of a shark.
The Carcharodontosaurus lived approximately 100 million years ago in what is now North Africa. It was a carnivore and likely hunted large herbivorous dinosaurs such as the Paralititan and Ouranosaurus. It was one of the top predators of its time and had no natural enemies, except perhaps other large carnivorous dinosaurs.
Several fossil finds of the Carcharodontosaurus have been made in North Africa, including a skull that was discovered in Morocco in 1995. This skull is one of the most complete and well-preserved specimens of a Carcharodontosaurus and has helped scientists learn more about these impressive dinosaurs.
The Carcharodontosaurus went extinct around 93 million years ago. Their extinction coincided with a very warm period in the Cretaceous. Whether this has anything to do with the extinction is still an open question. In out webshop, we sell teeth of the Carcharodontosaurus. So, if you want to buy a flesh-eating dino tooth, you are at the right spot.
